Blibli, Shopee, Lazada, and Tokopedia revealed the best-selling products in the run-up to Christmas and New Year. In addition to hampers, there are several items that consumers hunt at the end of the year.

Shopee, Blibli, and Lazada set a record transaction during the 12.12 discount party. The three and Tokopedia also revealed the types of products that sell well in the run-up to Christmas and New Year. Blibli recorded a record increase in sales during the discount party of 12.12 compared to the average normal day. 

There are five regions with the largest number of orders, namely West Java, DKI Jakarta, Banten, Central Java, and East Java.
Orders handled by Blibli warehouse and website traffic each jumped fourfold. This is a record for e-commerce nuanced light blue.

While in Tokopedia, there are five categories of products that sell in the run-up to Christmas and New Year. The four are:

5. Fashion

In general, products in the form of hampers become the choice of consumers to give gifts to family and relatives. In addition, greeting cards and chocolates became favorite products. 

“We recorded a nearly two-fold increase in transactions in chocolate products in the run-up to Christmas and New Year compared to the same period last year,” said Tokopedia Senior External Communications Lead Ekhel Chandra Wijaya in an official statement on Tuesday (21/12). Greeting card transactions have almost doubled. Then the nearlys increased nearly threefold.

Lazada which held a shopping festival titled Lazada 12.12 Grand Year End Sale on December 12 – 14 also recorded an increase in transactions. During this period, the average number of people shopping on the platform rose by 70%. In addition, the number of sellers who experienced a surge in transactions increased by more than 65% compared to last year. 

Lazada Indonesia Executive Director Ferry Kusnowo said the achievement showed that the 12.12 shopping festival was still a mainstay of sellers in attracting consumers. He said, the best-selling products are fashion, beauty, and automotive. In addition, sales of toy and game category products grew by more than 20%.

In addition to Lazada, Shopee recorded a six-fold increase in visits at the shopping festival of 12.12 compared to a normal day. This orange e-commerce also recorded more than 850 million claimed vouchers. While the category of MSME products that sell for 12.12 is care and beauty, Muslim clothing, and home supplies.
