Thailand

Boxme Global's operation in response to Covid-19 1

Operation is normal in Thai warehouse

On March 21, Bangkok City Hall authorities declared a wide-ranging shutdown of various businesses. Against the situation, Boxme is continuously adapting to mitigate potential impacts for you and your customers. Boxme warehouse is located far from the center of Bangkok city, hence we are operating normally.

Philippines

On March 16, the Philippines government has declared the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon to stop the further spread of COVID-19, as well as banned all activities except for essential supplies.

Against the situation, Boxme is continuously adapting to mitigate potential impacts for you and your customers. To help you keep up to date on our operations in impacted areas, we announce temporary adjustments due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as of March 16, 2020.

Malaysia

On March 16, 2020, the Malaysian government has announced a ‘movement control order’ and the implementation of the two-week lockdown started on March 18, 2020. Logistics has been recently still allowed to operate by the government, however, all activities will be slower than usual. Against the situation, Boxme is continuously striving to operate normally and adapting to mitigate potential impacts for you and your customers. To help you keep up to date on our operations in impacted areas, we announce temporary adjustments due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as of March 24, 2020.

This announcement shares an overview of some changes in the Boxme system. Due to the complicated course of the COVID-19 pandemic, these adjustments are subject to change without notice. Please note that Boxme will operate normally at pick-up and drop-off destinations which are not listed below.

Indonesia

On March 20, 2020, the Indonesian government a state of emergency for the next two weeks in Jakarta in an effort to contain the COVID-19 pandemic. Against the situation, Boxme is continuously adapting to mitigate potential impacts for you and your customers. To help you keep up to date on our operations in impacted areas, we announce temporary adjustments due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as of March 20, 2020.

In order to respond to unexpected situations, we strive to settle completely and put Surabaya warehouse into operation as soon as possible. In case of blockade of Jakarta, goods will be handled at this warehouse.

We will continue to respond constructively to the needs of our customers, and will continue to enhance our processes as the situation develops, in accordance with guidelines from global and local authorities. Latest information will be timely updated to you.
